Is education about memorizing facts? No, it's about learning to learn. It's about learning how to think.

  1. Justin, I disagree ... at least, a little. Education is about learning to learn, and learning to think ... AND memorizing facts. This was the subject of a lot of debate back in the 70's, following the release of Hirsch's "Cultural Literacy" and its thesis of what we - as a people, and as a nation - lose when we don't have the facts.
